It's been too long

It's been awhile. I always thought that if I had a blog, I'd post all the time. I always felt like I would have a lot to say. As it turns out, there's really not all that much to say. I still don't have enough time. There's always more to do, and I just didn't want to come across as negative again. However, I'll start with the positive.

I haven't really posted yet about my daughter. The fact that I am someone's father and that they rely on me to provide for them still floors me. She is absolutely amazing, and yet she really doesn't do all that much yet. She sleeps, she screams she eats. She has grown considerably since she was born. I don't always notice, but the grandparents who only see her once a week keep telling me that "she's getting so big!". I can't believe it's been six weeks now. This six weeks have gone very quickly, but people tell me not to blink because I'll turn around and she'll be six years old. Then I'll blink again and she'll be 18. I've been a bad parent though. My wife and I aren't the type that take photos all that often. We just never think to grab the camera. During the first week of my daughter's life, we had the camera with us all the time, but after that first week, I don't think I've picked up the camera since then. I need to start doing that again. I don't want to blink twice and only have my memories to remember the first 18 years of her life. I need to get better about taking pictures. I've received quite a bit of grief from my brothers (and more specifically their wives) about not sending any pictures to them yet. I really need to get around to doing that. Anyway, this has rambled on long enough. I'll try to post more later.
